The most compact automation for depaneling
The LPKF CuttingMaster 2000 Cx (Conveyor exchange) is a new system variant of the proven 2000 platform with an integrated automation solution. It is based on many years of experience in the field of laser depaneling systems and applications. The compact and efficient integrated handling system eliminates the need for rotating workpiece carriers. In addition, most of the unloading process can take place in parallel with the separation process of another workpiece. This reduces cycle times to an absolute minimum.
All functions are combined in the smallest possible footprint. This saves costs and above all space in SMT production. The CuttingMaster Cx is the ideal solution for high throughput production lines for rigid PCBs such as FR4. The system can be loaded and unloaded either manually or automatically with additional expansion modules. The system can be loaded directly from a magazine loader or a conveyor belt and unloaded either manually by an operator or fully automated by a robot. Consequently, the subsequent automation can be flexibly designed and adapted to individual customer requirements.
Synergies from Hardware and Software
Like all systems and automation solutions from LPKF, the CuttingMaster Cx guarantees simple and fast operation thanks to both its reliable hardware and its intuitive software. The integrated automation of the Cx variant is completely and fully automatically controlled by the CircuitPro system software. The customer specific fork that retracts into the system enables easy and safe unloading of the separated PCBs.
The integrated SMEMA interfaces and the standardized OPC UA interface enable communication with upstream and downstream modules as well as a Manufacturing Execution System. The non-productive times of the systems during loading and unloading are reduced to a minimum by the clever handling of the CuttingMaster Cx, creating further synergies that unleash the full potential of the laser technology. Therefore, the CuttingMaster Cx is the next step to fully exploit the technological advantages of the laser depaneling system, such as stress-free and gentle processing.
